Tangle user: university students who have accommodation demand off campus, and student accommodation provider who wants wider customer sources and faster services than before.

This app is designed to create a virtual space to help UK university student to find proper accommodation, and help tenants and accommodation management to communicate with each other smoothly.

In many Britain university, students need to find accommodation off campus on their own. The accommodation resources are plentiful, a mass of relevant company and rental
agent websites exist. While it is still an arduous task for young students to find and compare accommodation information efficiently before arriving at school, especially for
international students. Unlike Booking.com, tenant does not have a tube to review their own flat and show to the others. Accommodation company has tenant’s personal information, and might receive a few feedback while communicating with them.  For a upcoming student, however, even a real renting feedback from previous tenant is difficult to find. This information asymmetry phenomenon need to be changed. For tenant, an endless waiting time for repairing room’s heating system in winter is horrible. Therefore, a direct and fast communication would be very necessary. That is why a high quality APP which gather agents and students together is quite worth being created.

Log in page

Log in page is clear to understand. An existing user can log in directly. If a new user do not have an account yet but still want to experience the excellent service on SAH, he or she may enjoy SAH as a guest. you can simply sign up or log in with your social media account, Facebook and Twitter are both available.

Sign in

In the sign in page, except typing in your registration information, you should also choose your identity, including tenant, guest and accommodation manager. Then, the real-name system would require you to input your real personal information. The system guarantee that your information would be protected well. After verifying  your information, system would bind them together, and the register process complete. A guest could just sign up successfully without those further step.

The whole SAH System provide different functions to tenant, guest and accommodation manager. Logging in as different roles would bring you into different entrances. Each role would has unique experience while using SAH.

Home page

In home section, the main information would be the available accommodation nearby you. The distance between you and it, its lowest price, monthly quantity of sale can also be seen. To search suitable accommodation as soon as possible, except using the search function, choosing a precise room type, specific location and way of order would be good methods. Plus, system would position your location automatically, and display it at the top left corner. You can also choose different city by taping this area.

At the bottom of the page, a bottom toolbars could link you to other three sections. Tap it, you will find more.

Accommodation detail

After tap one of the accommodation options in home section, the accommodation’s detail is shown.

Some of its typical pictures would be displayed.  Swipe the it would help user to find more pictures. The accommodation’s specific location in map mode can be activated by taping its location area. The main features of this accommodation is under its location, and then is the reviews posted by previous tenants. All the reviews are posted before auditing by back-stage management. By taping ‘choose my room’, the accommodation’s room detail and ‘book’ option appear, and use would able to book any room they appreciate. What else? if you like it, you can simply share this page to your friends through those hot social app above, or add it into your wish list so that you can make a decision later.

That is ME

 

‘Me’ is a section that can apparently tell the difference between the role of tenant, guest and accommodation manager.

For tenant, not only adding money and using gift card to pay your rental fee is available, but the ‘maintenance centre’  and ‘my delivery’ are also very powerful. their specific details would be introduced later. All the forum records (see details in next article) can be found here. Another special function is that a notification would be given while your next rental date is coming. The right of reviewing the flat is  only opened towards real tenants, and it is available monthly.

For guest, only forum function, browsing accommodation’s review and  booking room are available. Once s/he become a tenant, more valuable functions would be enjoyable.

For accommodation manager, s/he can use SAH system to manage whole accommodation’s maintenance situation, post delivery information, view received reviews and promote themselves quickly.

Except accommodation manager, users could also find their wish list and notification in this section.

Forum

 

 

Forum is an interactive area for users. Guests can only use guest question area. tenants and accommodation managers are able to the full function, so that they can communicate and help each other conveniently.

Maintenance requirement

This two parts are designed for tenant and accommodation manager.

It is extremely easy to post a maintenance information in SAH system without running downstairs or worrying alone at midnight. Tenant just need to input the problem location, repairing type and more details, accommodation manager can receive it instantly. The maintenance status is viewable. Whenever the tenant want to modify it before being confirmed, it is still possible. All the information can be managed by accommodation manager easily and quickly.
